11 November 2022 Sunshine Coast Arts Foundation’s Gifted program will support nine diverse artist projects in 2023 including new ceramic, sculpture, watercolour, photographic, street art and dance artworks, a PhD mentorship, and a pilot film for a series of live music performances. A team of three University of the Sunshine Coast students have produced a video to promote the philanthropic work of the Sunshine Coast Arts Foundation. The video, produced as a Work Integrated Learning Project, was premiered at a special event on Friday 11 November to announce SCAF’S 2023 Gifted Program recipients and Patrons. Once again, Sunshine Coast Arts Foundation (SCAF) is hosting the annual Gifted Campaign with the announcement of a new Gifted Patrons Group.  a new Gifted Patrons Group. A tax-deductible gift of $1000 will enable you to nominate an artistic medium or category you are passionate about and would like to support. We’ll endeavour to get proposals from artists in your chosen medium and keep you connected with the progress of the successful artists, including opportunities to meet and discuss their work.

A physical theatre company, new recording label, local artist space, national pastel painting event, community sewing project and several visual artists based on the Sunshine Coast will receive support from the Foundation’s Gifted program in its second year. Brendon Murray, Partner, Bentleys and Professor Jennifer Radbourne, Chair of Sunshine Coast Arts Foundation (SCAF) co-hosted an exclusive function celebrating the arts, community and philanthropy, in the Bentley’s Board Room at Minyama on Wednesday evening 22 September. Guests included Andrew Wallace, Federal Member for Fisher, Jarrod Bleijie, State Member for Kawana, philanthropists, artists, business people, friends and board directors of SCAF. All enjoyed a special performance by acclaimed cellist and inaugural artistic director of the Sunshine Coast Chamber Music Festival,
