2026 Gifted Program Recipients

The Sunshine Coast Arts Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 Gifted Program.  Five exceptional local creatives have been selected to receive a $5,000 to further their practice, elevate their professional development, and bring their unique artistic visions to life on the Sunshine Coast. Additionally Naima Collette was selected as this year’s Gifted Scholarship winner.

Our 2026 cohort represents the incredible diversity of the regional arts sector, spanning contemporary dance, filmmaking, sculpture, and visual arts.

  • Naima Collette – Contemporary Dancer & Scholarship Winner

  • Paul Nevison – Acclaimed Film-Maker

  • Kim Herringe – Visual & Book Artist

  • Finn Cossar – Sculptor (Note: Finn’s mother accepted the award on his behalf, pictured below)

  • Roisin Clark – Multidisciplinary Visual Artist

  • David Bongiorno – Visual Artist
