Call for proposals for Gifted support

31 August 2021

It’s Gifted time again. The Foundation is calling for proposals from artists and organisations seeking support from our annual giving program, Gifted.

Each year the SCAF Board selects a number of talented local artists and organisations across disciplines to receive a contribution from donations made to our annual giving program. Gifted invests directly in talented local artists to ensure their success and the artistic prosperity of the Sunshine Coast. It also provides opportunities for donors to engage with recipients.

In keeping with SCAF’s principle purpose, Gifted supports professional development, mentorship and entrepreneurship projects, or production and presentation of a work.

To express your interest in receiving Gifted support for your project, contact the Executive Officer at info@scartsfoundation.com for a proposal form. Proposals are due by Thursday 30 September 2021 and recipients will be announced in November.

The inaugural recipients were Eumundi School of Rock’s annual concert, Courtney Scheu for a new collaborative dance work, Sand, Ruby Donohoe’s work Lung Water, LJ Projects’ new dance theatre work Poetical Inhabitants, Open Studios Sunshine Coast 2021, Musical Theatre Australia for A Girl’s Guide to World War – IPodcast and DANCELAB’s new performance piece THRIVE for Nambour’s Old Ambulance Station (Old Ambo).

Donations can be made to the Gifted campaign online or by contacting the Executive Officer at info@scartsfoundation.com.
