Melissa is the founder of LJ Projects, a dance/theatre company specialising in immersive theatre, education and outreach programs. Melissa is a contemporary dance theatre artist with a career spanning 27 years working extensively in Australia and the U.K. She has worked on many social inclusion projects and main stream dance company productions as a dancer herself, then fulfilling roles such as dance development artist for (DanceEastBritish Arts Council), community dance artist/ teacher on independent projects and ultimately as a choreographer.

Dancelab is a multilayered platform designed to support and provide training, mentorship and performance opportunities to emerging dance artists on the Sunshine Coast. Artistic Director, Michelle Bucci is a passionate creative leader with a career spanning over 30 years in choreography, coaching, and artistic direction. A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts with qualifications in Dance, Design and Training & Assessment, Michelle brings a unique blend of expertise to every project and strives to inspire and nurture the next generation

Fiona Jopp is a dancer and choreographer who creates contemporary dance and multi-art form performance projects. Fiona Jopp’s previous Sunshine Coast produced projects include: Aftereffect, a story of love and loss– In collaboration with Tobias Merz composing, arranging and performing the music. In Process 2022 – a distillation and deconstruction of the human form in collaboration with figurative artist David Bongiorno. The largest 4 day festival in the Hinterland,The Rangebow Festival returns from Thursday 10th to Sunday 13th August. The 2023 festival theme is Dream. Love. Live. Sculpture on the Edge is a renowned annual sculpture competition hosted by Arts Connect Inc in the scenic Sunshine Coast Hinterland. In 2025 the exhibition of selected entries by artists from near and far will be displayed at Flaxton Gardens, one of the Sunshine Coast’s most scenic wedding and events venues with panoramic views of the coastline from Noosa to Caloundra.
