Open Studios Sunshine Coast returns from 17–26 July 2026  it is one of the region’s most loved community arts events, connecting thousands of visitors with local artists across ten days of creativity, discovery and genuine behind-the-scenes experiences.

One of the two major 2026 events presented by Arts Connect Inc., the event invites the public into artists’ studios across the coast and hinterland. Visitors can meet artists, see creativity in action, purchase original work directly from the maker, participate in workshops and explore self-guided art trails through some of the Sunshine Coast’s most inspiring locations.

Behind every trail, workshop and visitor experience is a dedicated volunteer working group. Throughout the year, this team coordinates artist participation, marketing, sponsorship, community partnerships, event logistics and the many practical details needed to bring Open Studios to life.

Their work creates an accessible platform for local artists to share and sell their work, connect with new audiences and contribute to the cultural life of the Sunshine Coast.

As a volunteer-led, not-for-profit initiative, Open Studios relies on community support. Artist registration fees cover only part of the cost of delivering the event. Donations help keep participation affordable, strengthen promotion of local artists, improve the visitor experience and support the event’s continued growth.
