Dancelab is a multilayered platform designed to support and provide training, mentorship and performance opportunities to emerging dance artists. Artistic Director, Michelle Bucci is the founder and creator of The Dancelab Method. A graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts and respected choreographer within the dance industry. Qualified with a Bachelor of Dance, Diploma in Sports Therapy, Diploma in Design and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, it is evident she is a master in her craft.

This unique set of accomplishments underpins the foundations of the Dancelab one-of-a-kind method which is leading the way in the contemporary dance industry. Dancelab is also fast becoming known for mentorLAB which provides artist mentorship for pre-professional and emerging talent to bridge the gap from student and pre-professionals to industry career pathways. Dancelab looks forward to producing more contemporary dance works on the Sunshine Coast and supporting local talent to help our region’s creative ecology thrive.
