DENISE LAMBY’S PATROL VIBES

Denise Lamby will repurpose obsolete surf patrol uniforms into wearable art for beach display and community engagement.

Each time the sponsorship for surf lifesaving changes, all volunteers receive new patrol shirts and Denise been collecting these for several years and accepting uniform donations from fellow patrol members.

She plans to turn these shirts into wearable art that will create interest, drive community discussion and divert just some of the volumes of red and yellow otherwise headed for landfill.

She brings her passions together; art, the beach, volunteering, wearable art, community, recycling and generally making a scene that engages with people and makes them laugh.
