Sunshine Coast filmmaker Aaron Lenden will use the Gifted donation for the pre-production of his short film, Ouroboros. The film explores how an elderly Outback Queensland man, Ray, confronts a 60-year-old train accident trauma through eerie encounters. The film, set to shoot on the Sunshine Coast in early 2025 with a local crew and talent, aims to showcase the region and its artistic capabilities. Aaron, an emerging filmmaker with a strong track record and industry connections, intends Ouroboros to be an intense narrative delving into grief and its lasting impact, with the Gift from Sunshine Coast Arts Foundation’s donors being critical to its production quality.
