Gifted Proposals 2025

Sunshine Coast Art Foundation (SCAF) promotes the development and prosperity of the arts on the Sunshine Coast through fundraising and philanthropic investment that facilitates artistic vibrancy and engages the public imagination.

To express your interest in receiving support from SCAF as a Gifted recipient, please complete the Eligibility and Proposal details and submit your proposal by 30 September. Please note submissions have now closed.

Vision and Values

Gifted recipients must contribute to SCAF’s vision for ‘an enlightened and enriched Sunshine Coast region that is transformed by philanthropic investment in the arts and culture’, and the following values:

Please note:

Gifted recipients from 2024 or previous recipients who have not completed their proposals or reports are ineligible to apply.
To avoid accidentally losing your work, we recommend drafting your responses in a separate document and copying them into the fields below.
If your project is not completed within 12 months of receiving funds you agree to
return the full amount. The timeframe may be extended upon written explanation.
Invoices for successful applicants must be received within 14 days of the Gifted
announcement (14 October 2024).
2025 recipients will each receive $5000
5 Gifted recipients will be selected, each receiving $5000 for their project.

Eligibility for Gifted Support: *

A not-for-profit arts or cultural organisation (legally constituted) operating in the Sunshine Coast region. An artist, groups of artists, arts manager, arts worker or student living, practising or conducting a specific project in the Sunshine Coast region. A not-for-profit space for arts development, performance, collecting and exhibiting, screen presentations and arts education in the Sunshine Coast region.

Project Team: Briefly describe the team members involved in the project and their roles. (within 100 words)

Community Engagement: Describe how you will share this project with the Sunshine Coast community and how this project will benefit the Sunshine Coast community? (within 100 words)

Project Outcome: Describe the expected outcome of your project and what will be achieved. (within 100 words)

Additional Materials: You are required to submit a 1-minute video pitch as part of your application. This video should be recorded in one take. Please link to your video below and add any password details if your video is private.

Announcement:

Successful applicants are expected to attend the Gifted Announcement event on Friday 25 October.

Reporting:

Successful applicants must submit an outcome report of their project at the end of their proposed timeline.
