Project Description
SUNSHINE COAST CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL
Encompassing the coastline from Caloundra to Rainbow Beach and the lush countryside of the hinterland, the beauty of this region is ideally placed for experiencing the intimacy of chamber music in beautiful locations.
The inaugural Sunshine Coast Chamber Music Festival (SSCMF) was presented from 18 to 20 June 2021.
Sunshine-Coast based cellist and producer Louise King, who was Artistic Director curated a bold and ambitious program of live performances with dynamic Australian festival artists.
Performances featured a diverse range of music hosted in spaces, places, venues and intimate hinterland halls across the Sunshine Coast region.
The Foundation was proud to partner with the Festival in its inaugural year. Donors’ support helped realise the vision of bringing the first chamber music festival to the Sunshine Coast and create a legacy for years to come.
