Local dance theatre company LJ Projects is a GIFTED Annual Giving recipient in 2021.

Poetical Inhabitants is the new dance theatre work that explores the relationship we have with our homes. It will premiere during Horizon Festival’s Homegrown Program in August 2021. Melissa Lanham, a contemporary dance artist will lead the choreography in collaboration with architect/designer Samantha Taylor who will create the ‘house’ structure for the work.

Donations to the annual giving program invest in our talented local artists to ensure their success and the artistic prosperity of the Sunshine Coast.

Poetical Inhabitants is co-funded by Horizon Festival and the Regional Arts Development Fund, which is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Sunshine Coast Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
