FIONA HARDING: GOLD BENEATH

With the support of Gifted Patrons Jan and Jeff Cornfoot, emerging artist (painter and poet) Fiona Harding (Nambour), who works under the name ‘spirit you’, will create a new body of watercolour work, gold beneath, which she hopes to exhibit.

Inspired by a trip to Carnarvon Gorge and the Sunshine Coast’s local natural beauty, gold beneath will be a series of watercolour landscapes, interlaced with gold leaf.

A large part of Fiona’s practice is to show reverence for the natural world and to be able to translate its sacred living presence into painting form. Her long-term goal is to become a full-time artist.
