Cope Creative & de Jager Productions’ will present a musical which will be a community production by locals for locals.

Supported by Patron Judi Ross-Smith, Riley Cope and Marina de Jager of Cope Creative and De Jager productions are excited to be presenting a community driven musical on the Sunshine Coast.

To date their partnership has produced musicals such as Little Shop of Horrors and they’ve worked together on Young Frankenstein, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and Oliver. Cope Creative is headed by owner/producer Riley Cope who holds a bachelor of Musical Theatre and has experience in the cruise industry. Riley has written and produced two cabaret shows In Flight Entertainment and Holy Ship.

Cope Creative produces a number of musicals each year independently and through youth theatres such as Buderim Youth Theatre of Excellence and schools such as Montessori International College and Mountain Creek State High School. Riley also organises the Buderim Community Christmas Carols each year for around 6,000 community members.

In 2023 their production of Grease the musical at the Event Centre Caloundra, enjoyed four sellout shows to raving audience members.

Riley and Marina are passionate about bringing theatre to the region, performed by locals for locals.
